Nirapad Sarak Chai (NISCHA) (in English We Demand Safe Road) is a non-profit voluntary organization working for road safety issues in Bangladesh. The organization was founded on 1st December 1993 by the dynamic initiative of Ilias Kanchan, a Bangladeshi renowned actor who is currently serving as Chairman of Nirapad Sarak Chai. Ilias Kanchanís initiative became more forceful while his wife Jahanara Kanchan died in a road accident on October 22, 1993.

However, today NISCHA is lively working regarding various road safety issues in the country. Its works are dedicated to ensure safe roads all over the country. At present, Nirapad Sharak Chai comprises nearly 15000 members. It has 70 branches across the country. The organization has affiliation with a number of national and international organizations including National Road Safety Council, Ministry of Communication, Government of Bangladesh; BRAC, Accident Research Institute (ARI) of BUET, WHO etc. It undertakes different types of social awareness building programs, provides training, arranges round table discussion programs, etc.

The affairs of Nirapad Sharak Chai (NISCHA) are run by a Central Executive Members Committee (CEMC) comprises of nine (9) members. The Chairman is the Chief Executive Officer of this Committee.
