Family Planning Association of Bangladesh (FPAB) is the oldest and largest family planning organization in Bangladesh. FPAB is pioneer for promoting the family planning programme, and relevant matters/issues in the country. It provides family planning services for the people of the Bangladesh specially for the disadvantaged areasí people through community ownership. Dr. Humaira Sayeed, the founding president of FPAB, was the pioneer for establishing the association in 1953. As a member, it has weighty affiliation with the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF).

Family Planning Association of Bangladesh boosts family planning as a basic human right; and inspires people about the concept of small family. FPABís prime concern is given on the following areas Ė Adolescent, Abortion, HIV/AIDS, Access, and Advocacy. Its services/activities now spread in 32 districts of Bangladesh. The associationís attempts are in progress for covering all the 64 districts of the country. The main affairs of Family Planning Association of Bangladesh are directed by a National Executive Committee consisting of twenty-one (21) Members.
